 High Carbon Steel C45 Sheets and Plates typically feature a carbon content of 0.42–0.50% and manganese content of 0.50–0.80%, along with trace amounts of silicon, sulfur, and phosphorus. This blend results in a robust and hard material with excellent wear resistance. In terms of mechanics, C45 steel boasts a tensile strength ranging from 570–700 MPa and a yield strength of about 330 MPa. It shows moderate weldability and good machinability, making it perfect for applications that require durability, surface hardness, and strength under pressure, especially after undergoing heat treatment processes like hardening and tempering.
