What is Alloy Steel T92 Tubing?

The main raw material of the Alloy Steel T92 is iron, and the minor elements are chromium (8–9%), molybdenum (0.3–0.6 %), vanadium, niobium, tungsten, and small quantities of carbon, manganese, and silicon. The material has the advantage of all the above as far as creep strength, oxidation resistance, and thermal stability are concerned. As a result, the metal has very good mechanical properties, the tensile strength is about 620 MPa, and the yield strength is approximately 440 MPa. The tubing has excellent hardness, toughness, and weldability, and, thus, it keeps mechanical strength even when the operating temperature and stress have been increased for a long time in industrial environments of great demand.
