253MA (UNS S30815) is a high-temperature austenitic stainless steel that features around 21% chromium, 11% nickel, 0.17% nitrogen, along with small amounts of rare earth metals and silicon to boost oxidation resistance. This alloy offers remarkable strength and creep resistance at temperatures reaching up to 1150°C. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of approximately 600–750 MPa and a yield strength of about 310 MPa, showcasing excellent elongation and toughness.
