SAILMA 350 HI is a high-strength low-alloy steel with minimum yield strength of 350 MPa. Its chemical composition consists of carbon (up to 0.25%), manganese (up to 1.50%), silicon (up to 0.40%), phosphorus (up to 0.055%), sulfur (up to 0.055%), and aluminum (at least 0.01%). Mechanical characteristics involve a tensile strength of 490–610 MPa and elongation of 21%, showing superior formability and toughness. Impact toughness is 40 J at 0°C, proving to be adequate for use in situations that demand resistance against brittle fracture.
